La kiné est-elle efficace contre l'arthrose ?

Yes, physiotherapy is effective in treating osteoarthritis.

Its objectives are to reduce pain and improve articular mobility and the performance of the muscles that surround joints. But there is one thing to bear in mind: for physiotherapy to be effective, the patient must be active and exercise appropriately!

Through physiotherapy, the patient learns a better way to position their body by making correct movements in order to reduce mechanical stresses on the joints.
These movements are not always natural. Therefore, it is not always easy to put them in place and to integrate them on a daily basis. Physiotherapy can be very useful, but unfortunately, the quality of care can be very different from one therapist to another. You may want to discuss this with your doctor.
